so we've been using sign language with Willow almost since the day we brought her home from the hospital.  I think she is finally making the connection with the sign for milk (we use that sign for her formula).  The past couple days when we sign it to her she gets really excited !!!
on another note.... she is SO close to crawling.  She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks.  More often than not she falls on her belly and eventually inches backwards instead of forward.  It won't be long now though
