Happy 29 week Willow pants.  I can't believe she's almost 7 months old!! Time sure has flown by.  People keep asking me if I miss working. Heck no I don't, the job I have now is soooo much fun.  Willow is such an easy baby.  She goes to bed and usually goes right to sleep, no fuss, no rocking.  She is getting so good at picking things up with both hands, cooing and screeching. It's so cool watching her learn something new everyday.  I don't want this time to go by too fast but I am so looking forward to spring and summer when we can get outside everyday.

Back from Willow's 6 month appt.  She's reaching all her milestones, catching up on her height, weight and head circumference.  We can now start second stage foods, which includes meat.  I'm still going to keep on steaming and making what food I can. Not so sure I'm up for making meats for her but I figure if I can continue making some foods for her that's better than nothing right?  She does have some Eczema and we are hoping an OTC Hydrocortizone Cream will help.  She got her flu vaccination today and will need a booster in a month. Then no visit until she's 9 months old (which is only 3 months away!!!!!!)

Willow is 6 months old TODAY!!! Can you believe it????  She has developed within the past couple days a fascination for tags. Tags on her toys, tags on her blankets. Silly girl.  She's trying really hard to giggle, it comes out more like a screech but we'll just keep tickling til it happens :)  She enjoys riding in carts and her stroller like a big girl, cause she has to see what's going on.  She LOVES to eat but does that really surprise anyone, I mean she IS my daughter right????  She has her 6 month doc appt. on Thurs stay tuned

26 week update.  New Year was uneventful. We stayed home, watched the ball drop then all went to bed.  Yup, Willow is a night owl.  Not going to bed til 11 or 12.  Not really a big issue since I have no place to be the next moring.  She is eatin' solids like a champ.  Having to hide fruit in the cereal but hey....she still gets it down.  She's a fan of veggies, I think green beans are her fav.  Since we've finally had some nice weather we are back out walking the neighborhood.  Willow is really really good at sitting up unassisted and can really grasp objects and switch back and forth from hand to hand.  She is finding the pets super exciting and loves to watch them. Her 6 month checkup is next week, can you believe it????

Happy New Year.  Here's to hoping 2012 is just as exciting as 2011.  Willow is getting soooo good at sitting up unassisted and we are amazed every day how much she can do. It seems as though everyday she does something new.
