Hey there again. 13 weeks along today. YAY!!! The chance of miscarriage has greatly been reduced now so I can breathe a sigh of relief. Baby Boilermaker's fingerprints are developed now. His or her vocal chords are forming as are the teeth. All of the organs are fully formed now and by the end of the second trimester he or she will double in length. Wow!! Such a busy little thing and only the size of a peach!!!!!

Next doctor appointment will be Feb 23 and I"ll be 16 weeks along. More to come on our little Boilermaker.

I'm 12 weeks and 3 days along now. Went to the doctor this morning. Doc said there was an 80-90% chance of hearing the heartbeat and SURPRISE we heard it. WOW !!! It was amazing ! Just reassuring to hear it, knowing that it's still in there :) All my bloodwork from the last appointment came back normal. My BP was normal today as well. Since I had no questions or concerns the appointment lasted about 15 min. In 4 weeks I have another appointment and we will do some more bloodwork (testing for Downs etc. this time). I added a belly pict. Not much to see, I had a "flabby belly" before. It's gonna take some time for baby to fill it up. But there it is

The past couple weeks I've really started feeling better. Not nearly as exhausted as early on. And even though the nausea was never terrible it's nice not feeling that "uneasey" feeling every time I eat. AND I don't gag anymore when I brush my teeth.

Almost 11 weeks along now. Been doing a lot of reading. Seems so crazy all this is going on inside me RIGHT now!!!! Just hope I haven't done anything to it yet......

Have my next appointment in a little under 2 wees, can't wait to hear the heartbeat. It'll remind me how real this journey really is. Stay tuned for more....................

Hello again. Nothing really new to report. I'm 9 weeks along today. Added a belly pict. Not much to see except my flab. Still so freakin' tired but that's to be expected I guess. It's hard work growing a person, right????
